The Emergent Human Design Lab offers an online space for learning, connection, and exploration of Human Design through courses, live sessions, and community. These Terms explain how the program is delivered and the conditions under which we provide access.
Please read these terms carefully before enrolling. By joining the Lab, you agree to be bound by them.
1. Program Terms & Conditions – Key Terms
These Terms explain how the Emergent Human Design Lab is provided and what you can expect when you take part. Please read them carefully before enrolling.
By enrolling in the Lab, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you may have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, your continued participation in the Lab means you accept the updated Terms.
2. Lab Outline
The Emergent Human Design Lab is a time-limited program delivered over a defined period. It offers access to selected online courses, live sessions, shared discussions, and a private community space for cohort participants.
The program supports learning and reflection in Human Design as taught by Kim Gould. All material is provided as general education and insight, not as personalised advice or individual coaching. Participants seeking one-to-one support are welcome to inquire separately about private services.
3. Lab Specifics
The Lab includes a combination of live sessions, learning materials, and a private community space, designed to support shared learning over the duration of the cohort. The structure and pacing of the program may evolve in response to the needs of the group.
Live Sessions
Live sessions are facilitated by Kim Gould and, at times, invited contributors with relevant expertise in Human Design or related fields. These sessions are held online via Zoom or a similar video platform and may include teaching, discussion, or guided exploration.
Group Q&A and Discussion
Throughout the Lab, participants will have opportunities to ask questions and engage in group discussion during live sessions or within the community space. These sessions are intended to support collective learning rather than provide individual coaching.
Online Learning Materials
Online courses and resources are provided to support self-directed learning. Participants are free to engage with this material in their own time and at their own pace. All content is delivered in English; translations are not available.
Private Community Space
Participants will have access to a private online community for the duration of the Lab. This space is intended for connection, shared reflection, and conversation with others in the cohort. It is not a formal teaching or assessment environment.
4. Certification
Where the Lab includes certification, participants will be issued a certificate as recognition of learning completed within the program. The certificate is intended to reflect the level and scope of learning undertaken and should be used to represent that learning accurately.
Certification recognises participation in a defined course of study within the Emergent Human Design Lab. It does not grant authority to teach, train, or certify others, nor does it constitute a licence or statutory qualification.
Certification is granted on the basis of adequate engagement with the program. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to withhold certification where a participant has not sufficiently engaged with the learning process.
We also reserve the right to withdraw certification if it is later used in a misleading way or in a manner inconsistent with the level or scope of training completed.
5. Behaviour
The Emergent Human Design Lab is designed to be a respectful and welcoming environment for all participants. We ask that everyone engages with care, openness, and consideration for others.
In order to maintain the integrity of the program and the wellbeing of the group, we reserve the right to address behaviour that is disruptive, offensive, or inconsistent with the purpose of the Lab. This may include removal from the program where necessary.
Each participant remains responsible for their own conduct. We are not responsible for the behaviour, actions, or views expressed by other participants within the program or community spaces.
6. Lab Fees and Payment Terms
The fee for the Lab is set at the time of enrolment and is clearly displayed prior to purchase. Where a payment plan is offered, payments will be processed via Stripe in accordance with the schedule selected at checkout.
All payments are due as agreed at the time of enrolment. Access to the Lab is provided for the duration of the cohort period, subject to successful payment of the applicable fees.
The fee for a specific Lab will not change once you have enrolled. Any changes to pricing will apply only to future cohorts and will be communicated separately.
7. Refunds and Cancellation
We hope that you find the Lab valuable and supportive. As the program is delivered over a defined period and access to materials is provided from the outset, please review the details of the Lab carefully before enrolling. You are welcome to contact us prior to enrolment with any questions about suitability.
Once the Lab has commenced, all fees are non-refundable. This applies regardless of the level of participation or completion of the program. This does not affect any statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
Where a payment plan is offered, the payment plan represents instalments of the total Lab fee. By enrolling, you agree to pay the full program fee in accordance with the agreed payment schedule. Choosing to withdraw from or stop participating in the Lab does not release you from the obligation to complete all agreed payments.
We recognise that unforeseen circumstances, such as genuine hardship, can arise. Participants are welcome to contact us to discuss their situation. Any accommodation offered is at our discretion and assessed on a case-by-case basis.
We reserve the right to cancel the Lab if necessary. In the event that the program is cancelled by us, a pro-rata refund will be provided for any unused portion of the program, where applicable.
We may also withdraw a participant’s access to the Lab with immediate effect if:
- required payments are not made when due;
- there is a serious breach of these Terms; or
- continued participation is considered inconsistent with the purpose or integrity of the program.
8. Contact and Schedule
The Lab is delivered over a defined period and includes scheduled live sessions and access to learning materials as outlined in the program information. While we make every effort to deliver sessions as planned, dates and times may occasionally change due to unforeseen circumstances. Where this occurs, sessions will be rescheduled where reasonably possible.
During the Lab, support is available via email at hello@loveyourdesign.com.
9. Disclaimers

All information and materials provided as part of the Lab are offered for general educational purposes only. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, personal injury, death resulting from negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
10. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law and subject to the Australian Consumer Law, we limit our liability for any loss or damage arising from your participation in, or use of, the Lab. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits or opportunity.
Where liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited, at our option, to the resupply of the services or the cost of having the services resupplied. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability will not exceed the fees paid by you for the Lab in the six months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
You agree to indemnify us, our employees, and contractors against any claim or loss arising from your breach of these Terms or unlawful conduct in connection with the Lab.
11. Privacy and Confidentiality
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By participating in the Lab, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in that policy. You are responsible for keeping your contact details accurate and up to date.
Participants may be exposed to personal or confidential information relating to others in the Lab. You agree to keep such information confidential and not to disclose it to any third party. These confidentiality obligations continue after your participation in the Lab ends. Serious or repeated breaches may result in removal from the program.
Live sessions may be recorded and made available to other participants in the Lab. By attending live sessions, you acknowledge that your name and/or image may be captured. You are responsible for managing your own privacy settings, including camera use and displayed name.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and must notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorised access.
12. Intellectual Property
The Emergent HD Lab is designed to support deep personal and professional development, and you are welcome to integrate what you learn into your own reflections, client work, and lived practice.
At the same time, the specific frameworks, teaching structures, language, recordings, written materials, and methodologies shared within the Lab remain the intellectual property of Kim Gould.

13. Non-Solicitation and Misrepresentation
Participants may not use access to the Lab or community to solicit or recruit other participants for competing programs during the cohort period. Participants must not represent themselves as affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Emergent Human Design Lab without express written permission.
14. Waiver
Any failure or delay by us in enforcing these Terms, or in exercising any right or remedy, does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy. Any waiver must be made expressly and in writing to be effective.
15. Errors and Inaccuracies
We may occasionally update or correct information relating to the Lab, including descriptions, pricing, or delivery details, where errors or omissions arise. We reserve the right to make such corrections without prior notice.
16. Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales in relation to any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Lab.
17.Complaints
If you have a complaint about the program this should be made via email to hello@loveyourdesign.com
18.General
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the Lab and supersede any prior discussions or representations.
If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and any third-party platform or payment provider used in connection with the Lab, these Terms will prevail.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be severed to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
No person other than the parties to these Terms has any right to enforce any provision of them.
We may update these Terms from time to time for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. Where changes are made, we will take reasonable steps to notify you
